Patient Retention Tools for Providers, ACOs & Pharmacies

Help your patients pick a plan that keeps you.

Assist is a plan-shopping page with your name on it. Your patients compare Medicare Advantage and drug plans the same way they do on our site — with one difference. Your practice or pharmacy is locked in as a must-keep. Every plan they see keeps you. Our licensed advisors handle the rest, at no cost to you or your patients.

I.The Problem

Every fall, plan shopping quietly moves your patients away from you.

Most patients don’t read network directories. They pick a plan from a TV ad, a mailer, or a phone call from a stranger. Then they find out — sometimes months later — that their new plan doesn’t include their doctor or their pharmacy.

1.1

Patients leave by accident

A patient who switches plans in October may learn in January that you’re out of network. Nobody wanted that. Not the patient, not your front desk, and not your schedule. But by then the change is done, and the patient often stays wherever the new plan sends them.

1.2

Your staff can’t answer insurance questions

Patients ask your front desk which plan to pick. Your team isn’t licensed to answer, and shouldn’t have to be. The safe answer today is “call the plan” — which sends your patient to a sales line that has no reason to keep them with you.

1.3

Generic tools don’t protect your panel

Big comparison sites treat your practice as one checkbox among many. If a plan pays a little better or ranks a little higher, the tool shows it — even when it drops you. Nothing in that flow is built to keep your patient with you.

II.The Program

Your own plan-shopping page, with you built in as non-negotiable.

Assist is a white-labeled version of the same Medicare Advantage and Part D drug-plan tools that run on thepocketprotector.com. We put your brand on the page and set your organization as a fixed constraint the patient cannot lose by accident.

2.1

White-labeled, not co-branded fine print

The page lives at your link, with your logo and your colors. Patients see a tool from a name they already trust: yours. A short line notes that The Pocket Protector, a licensed insurance agency, runs the comparisons and the enrollment.

2.2

You are pinned, not suggested

For a medical practice, every plan shown keeps your doctors in network. For a pharmacy, every plan shown includes your pharmacy — and flags where it gets preferred pricing. Plans that drop you never make the list.

2.3

Real comparisons, honestly ranked

Within that constraint, patients get the full picture: premiums, drug costs at their doses, CMS star ratings, and total-cost estimates for their actual situation. We never hide a cost to make a plan look good. The patient picks; a licensed advisor enrolls them and stays with them year after year.

III.How It Works

Four steps. Your team does almost nothing.

Setup takes days, not months. You share your logo and confirm your locations. We build, host, and maintain the page — and handle every enrollment question that comes through it.

Step 1 — We build your page

Your brand goes on our tools

We set up your page with your name, logo, and colors, and pin your practice locations or pharmacy stores behind the scenes.

Your network, locked in
Step 2 — Patients answer a few questions

ZIP, doctors, drugs, pharmacy

The patient enters their ZIP code, their other doctors, their prescriptions, and their pharmacy. Your organization is already on the must-keep list — they can’t drop you by mistake.

Step 3 — Plans that keep you

Ranked results, filtered to your network

The tool compares plans using real CMS data and shows only plans that keep you. Each card carries a badge confirming it: in-network for practices, preferred or in-network for pharmacies.

Step 4 — We handle enrollment

A licensed advisor finishes the job

When the patient is ready, a Licensed Medicare Advisor reviews the choice, submits the enrollment, and supports the patient at every enrollment period after that.

IV.The Demo

See what your patients would see.

Pick a sample partner below. The page re-skins to that partner’s brand, and every plan card shows the pinned badge. This is the heart of Assist: the constraint travels with the patient through the whole flow.

V.Who It’s For

Built for the people patients already trust.

If patients ask your team about Medicare plans, Assist gives you a safe, useful answer: a page with your name on it, backed by licensed advisors.

Medical practices

Keep your panel through every enrollment season.

Your patients shop with your doctors pinned. No more January surprises where a loyal patient shows up out of network.

ACOs & health systems

Keep attributed patients aligned with your network.

Plan switches that pull patients out of your network break continuity of care. Assist filters the market to plans that keep patients inside it.

Medical offices & clinics

Give your front desk a better answer.

Instead of “we can’t advise on insurance,” your staff hands patients a card or a link. Licensed advisors take it from there.

Pharmacies

Stay your customers’ pharmacy, at preferred pricing.

Patients compare Part D and Medicare Advantage drug coverage with your pharmacy locked in. Each plan card shows whether you’re preferred or standard in that plan’s network.

VI.Compliance

Designed inside the rules that govern Medicare marketing.

Medicare enrollment is regulated, and it should be. Assist keeps your organization on the right side of every line: you lend your brand, and a licensed agency does the licensed work.

Licensure & independence

The Pocket Protector is a licensed, carrier-independent insurance agency (NPN 21126942). We represent Medicare plans from many carriers rather than selling for one. Every comparison, recommendation, and enrollment on an Assist page is performed by us, not by your staff.

Patient choice comes first

Pinning your organization narrows the list to plans that keep you — it never forces a plan on anyone. Patients see honest costs for every option shown, can decline any of them, and can ask their advisor to widen the search to the full market at any time. When no suitable plan keeps the pin, we say so plainly.

No payment for steering

You don’t pay us, and we don’t pay you. We’re paid standard commissions by insurance carriers when a patient enrolls, and the patient’s price is the same either way. Program design is reviewed with your counsel during onboarding.

Patient privacy

What a patient shares with their advisor stays with their advisor. Health details, drug lists, and finances never go back to your organization. Any reporting you receive is aggregate and de-identified.

Regulated communications

Every patient-facing page follows CMS Medicare marketing guidelines: no superlatives, no pressure, no unsupported claims, and clear required disclaimers. Your name never sits next to language you would have to defend.

VII.Questions

Common questions.

What does Assist cost?

Nothing, for you and for your patients. We build and host the page, and we staff the advisors. We’re paid standard commissions by insurance carriers when a patient enrolls — the same way as any licensed agency — and the patient’s premium is identical either way.

What if no good plan keeps our practice in network?

We tell the patient the truth. If the plans that keep you are a poor fit for a patient’s health or budget, the advisor says so and helps them look at the wider market. That honesty is what keeps the program compliant — and what keeps patients trusting your name on the page.

Do our staff need an insurance license?

No. Your team never gives insurance advice. They share a link or a handout, and that’s the end of their role. Licensed Medicare Advisors at The Pocket Protector handle every comparison, recommendation, and enrollment.

Do you sell or share our patients’ information?

No. Patient information stays between the patient and their advisor. We don’t sell contact lists, and we don’t send individual health details back to your organization. You can receive aggregate, de-identified reporting on page use and enrollments.

Which plans can your advisors offer?

We represent Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D prescription drug plans from many carriers. We do not offer every plan available in every area, and we tell patients exactly that — along with how to reach Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, and their State Health Insurance Assistance Program for the complete picture.

What do you need from us to launch?

Your logo, your brand colors, and a confirmed list of your locations or store addresses. No patient data, no claims files, no system integration. Most pages are ready to review within days.

Can we launch before this fall’s enrollment period?

Setup is fast, but fall calendars fill up. The Annual Enrollment Period opens October 15, and pages work best when patients hear about them before it starts. A consultation now leaves time to build, review, and print handouts for your waiting room or counter.

VIII.Next Step

Put your name on the page your patients shop from.

A thirty-minute consultation covers your patient volume, your locations, and what an Assist page would look like with your brand on it. Fall launches should be scoped before the Annual Enrollment Period opens on October 15.

Assist provides white-labeled plan-comparison tools and licensed enrollment support for patients of participating providers, health systems, and pharmacies. Partner branding does not change who provides the service: all comparisons, advice, and enrollments are performed by The Pocket Protector. Pinned-network filtering limits displayed results to plans that include the partner; patients may request a full-market comparison at any time. Participation is free for partners and patients; The Pocket Protector receives standard carrier commissions upon enrollment. Plan availability, premiums, and benefits vary by location and are subject to change. Sample screens on this page use fictional partners, plans, and prices. Nothing on this page is legal advice; organizations should consult their own counsel regarding applicable federal and state requirements.
