Drug costsHow your drug costs work in 2026Part D uses a deductible (when applicable), initial coverage, and catastrophic coverage.

Three coverage phases during the year
  • Deductible (when it applies). This plan does not publish a drug deductible here. Verify the current terms with the plan.
  • Initial coverage. After any applicable deductible, you pay the copay or coinsurance shown for your drug's tier. The amount can differ by pharmacy and supply length.
  • Catastrophic coverage. After $2,100 in qualifying out-of-pocket costs for covered Part D drugs, you pay $0 for covered Part D drugs through December 31. Premiums and drugs that are not on the plan's formulary do not count toward this limit.
Covered insulin costs no more than $35 for a month's supply, and recommended vaccines (like shingles) are $0 all year. If a big pharmacy bill would be tough to handle at once, you can spread your costs into equal monthly payments at no extra charge — ask about the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan.
